Sport in Mind Strategy and Impact

In 2023/24 there were 3.8 million people being treated by the NHS mental health services, including one million children and young people

Sport in Mind's mission to transform the nation's mental health through sport and physical activity has never been more important.

Over the past year we have made remarkable progress in promoting mental health through sport and physical activity. Our programmes have positively impacted a diverse group of beneficiaries, and we have forged incredible new partnerships to advance our mission

With NHS mental health referrals at record levels, there has never been a more important time for Sport in Mind's unique services- we know there is so much more to do.

Which is why we are delighted to launch our 7 year strategy to tackle the issue head on, creating a roadmap to become a national provider of high quality, inclusive programmes that support some of the most vulnerable members of society into more active and healthier lifestyles
