Sport in Mind Resources Kit We are on a mission. We know the positive impact that sport and physical activity has on our mental health, and we want the entire nation to know it too- but we need your help! With World Mental Health Day coming up on October 10th, we know there will be lots of important conversations happening, so here are some ways to get involved, along with lots of different resources that you can use to help us raise awareness of the work we do, and the importance of being active for our physical, as well as mental health. How to get involved: Have you heard about our October Challenge? To mark world mental health day on October 10th, Sport in Mind are challenging YOU to run, walk or cycle the epic distance, to not only challenge yourself but to change lives. Challenge Start Date: 10th October for 10 days Cost: £25 entry fee. By taking part in the challenge, you will personally be supporting the recovery of an individual suffering with their mental health by funding their place in our sports and physical activity sessions. On entry you will receive a FREE Sport in Mind T-Shirt to wear with pride during your challenge! We know how powerful movement is for positive mental health- and if you are considering this challenge, we know you do too! The more people who take part, the more people we can support!
