Waterside Festival This is a free, one-off Waterside Festival on Wednesday 17th June 2026 between 11.30am-3pm at Goring Gap Boat Club. A fun event for Sport in Mind participants & new joiners interested in getting out on the water and/or spending time at a lovely venue! A variety of on water and land based activities including rowing, canoeing, paddleboarding, archery and badminton will be available. Or simply bring a picnic blanket, sun cream and sit back and relax! You are welcome to invite friends and family 17+ as well, the more the merrier! This event is open to all abilities (even if you have never tried the activities before!). All equipment is provided by Sport in Mind! Click on the image above for full details! If you are new to Sport in Mind we will also need a registration form please: https://www.sportinmind.org/online-sign-up Useful Information: Free car parking onsite but please try to car share where possible Public transport to the venue is limited and the best option is to get a train to Pangbourne or Goring & Streatley station and a taxi from there All equipment is provided including life jackets We have experienced & friendly instructors for each of the water activities - rowing, canoeing and paddleboard - and plenty of volunteers to support on the day! Wear something comfortable although no jeans on the water please, and bring a towel and change of clothes just in case!
